Sale conditions of wood are specified by the regulation of Director – General of the Sate Forests.
Within the framework of the individual sale , the foresters try to meet the fast growing demand, because more and more people use wood in order to heat their houses. Contrary to general opinion, these are not only village people, even though they prevail among recipients. The growth of firewood demand is the result of occurrence of new housing estates built in the suburbs of large agglomerations, where houses are usually equipped in fireplace heating installations.
Firewood is not only the most ecological heat source, but also is much more attractive in respect of relation of price and electric efficiency, rather than cola, oil, gas or electric power.
In recent years, the Sate Forests increased the sale of firewood of one third – up to over 4 million cubic meters annually. Some of customers choose already prepared and cut into pieces wood, the others very willingly obtain it by themselves after arranging all details and fulfilling particular safety conditions, and after paying the fee; that concerns mainly so called "thinnings". Such a raw material is very cheap, that is why many people from village areas profit from such possibility.

Nadleśnictwo Ciechanów informuje o chęci zakupu lasów oraz gruntów przeznaczonych do zalesienia.
Każdą osobę będącą właścicielem lasu położonego na terenie administrowanym przez Nadleśnictwo Ciechanów (sprawdź to na stronie https://www.bdl.lasy.gov.pl/portal/mapy) prosimy o dostarczenie oferty sprzedaży lasu- w załaczniku. Ofertę można dostarczyć osobiście, przesłać pocztą bądź elektronicznie na adres: ciechanow@olsztyn.lasy.gov.pl.
Następie Nadleśnictwo określa czy zaproponowany do sprzedaży grunt jest wolny od obciążeń. Stan własności nieruchomości jej obciążenia i inne dane ocenimy wg danych zawartych w Elektronicznej Księdze Wieczystej na https://ekw.ms.gov.pl . Upewnij się, że dane tam przedstawione są aktualne. Kolejny aspekt to przydatność w prowadzeniu gospodarki lesnej.
Jeżeli konieczne będzie dostarczenie dodatkowych dokumentów, poinforumujemy o tym właściciela W przypadku pozytywnego rozpatrzenia oferty sprzedaży wystapimy z prośbą o dostarczenie następujących, aktualnych dokumentów:
- wypis z ewidencji gruntów,
- wyrys z mapy ewidencyjnej,
- zaświadczenie z miejscowego planu zagospodarowania przestrzennego
- porozumienie pomiędzy stronami o pokryciu kosztów wyceny nieruchomości przez rzeczoznawcę majątkowego w razie wycofania się zbywcy z transakcji po zleceniu tej wyceny przez Nadleśnictwo.
Nabycie nieruchomości może dojść do skutku po uzyskaniu przez Nadleśniczego zgody Dyrektora Generalnego Lasów Państwowych. W dalszej kolejności Nadleśnictwo zleca wycenę nieruchomości – cena nabycia nie może być wyższa niż wartość wynikająca z wyceny.
Po uzgodnieniu ceny sprzedaży następuje finalizacja transakcji u notariusza.
